One door closes, another door opens!

Yesterday saw the end of our last batch of sale tiles, the Laura Ashley Isadore,  British Ceramic Tile Richmond and Lichfield all reverted back from their fantastic sale prices, to our usual, but still competitive web site prices.

We will be looking to add three new ranges to our sales section at some point in the next day or two and we are just checking stock levels so that we don’t disappoint anyone hoping for a bargain, for us to not fulfil our orders!! We are anticipating putting a Wet by Hemingway range, a Laura Ashley Range, and a British Ceramic Tile range in.

New Year New Tiles

The New Year will see a selection of new tiles being introduced to the tileclick website.

There will be new introductions to some of our existing ranges, with some exciting and trendy new borders and floor tiles, as well as new wall tiles to enhance our current selection.

One exciting newcomer is the introduction of a proper range of natural stone products. These will be available in a variety of types, sizes and finishes, and we will also be bringing the correct adhesives and care products to the site to provide the complete package for buying, installing, and caring for natural stone tiles.

Christmas Deadlines for Tiles are looming.

With The month of December already with us, the Chritsmas break is also getting nearer! Well, if your planning to use those valuable few days of work to spruce up your kitchen or bathroom don’t leave buying your tiles too late.

Despite all the misery on the news and TV about the economy, it is a great time to improve your home and standard of living by making it more luxurious. We sell our tiles at competitve prices, but understand that in todays market, we all need to try and help each other, so please call us where we will always be happy to try and squeeze a bit more of a saving, just for you, when we know exactaly what you are looking to order.

Discontinuation Notice of Tiles

Unfortunately we have to advise that 3 of the Wet by Hemingway Design range of ceramic wall tiles have been discontinued by the manufacturer.

The 3 ranges to go are Toothbrush, Flower and Scribble, other than being advised of this Tileclick have sold the current stock that we have and will not able to get any more from the manufacturer. This is dissapointing for us as these tile were hugely popular but we can only assume that their individuality and quirkiness didnt meet the general demand of the bristish publish for these ranges to be manufactured continually.

Mapei Extends to Meet Demands

Mapei UK, manufacturer of tile grout and adhesive is extending its premises in Halesowen, near Birmingham. This is great news for mapei who are responding to its ever-increasing sales growth with a new extension that will double its its current production, warehouse and office capacity. Mapei UK are a subsidiary of the global Mapei group  and they are manufacturing over 110 products in Halesowen.

The products currently produced include ready-mixed paste adhesives, coloured grouts, screeds and levelling compounds, these incorporate the companies top names such as keraquick, and ultracolor plus grout that are available from the Tileclick website.

Our newest range of bathroom and kitchen tiles is the cool and contemporary tactile by Studio Conran range of tiles.

The range is inspired from coastal areas in the UK, focussing on the textures of nature from the West Country and captures all of the region’s dramatic contrasts.

The range of tiles were designed in London by Studio Conran, and manufactured in Devon by British Ceramic Tile, the collaboration brings together British Ceramic Tile’s experience as a leader in the field of glazing and textural finsihes and Studio Conran’s design expertise.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

This is a new blog for our re-designed website which went live on 4th July 2008. We had a comprehensive blog and gallery on our last website that was popular with our customers that helped keep people up to date with tile trends, image galleries, new product, tiling tips – pretty much anything we thought the public may be interested in having already arrived at our tile website.

At tileclick we have expanded our ranges of tiles, but still maintain our existing ranges including Laura Ashley, Wet by Hemingway Design and now the fantastic new range ‘tactile – by Studio Conran’
