It is quite often that we have people enquiring about pink tiles. They are not very common, but are yet quite popular. People like to use them often in thier kitchen to either make a bit of a statement or to use them with other tiles to create a softer look. The two pink kitchen tiles that we have are the Candy Colours Raspberry 148mm x148 mm (CAN32040) and Candy Colours Candy Pink 148mm x 148mm (CAN31234). They can be used as feature tiles and to create a pattern. These tiles can also be scattered in between neutral tiles such as white or cream tiles to break up the neutral tiles and create an individual design to your kitchen.
TileClick sell a wide range of tiles, whether you need them for your bathroom, kitchen or even utility room. However sometimes with some many tiles to choose from it can be difficult to know what design to go for. It is our intention to keep you updated on new and contemporary interior designs that we come across. We love finding exciting ideas on ways to freshen up your bathrooms and kitchens with new tiles. Ways in which you can do it on a budget or ways you can splash out to do it. Which ever option you choose, your friends and family will be sure to love it.
Porcelain and ceramic floor tiles are growing in their popularity because of their strength and durability over ceramic tiles. This is understandable, as we all want our newly tiled floor to look good for as long as possibe.
One thing with porcelain and ceramic floor tiles is that they can still be treated!! ‘remember the old saying ‘prevention is better than cure’! On the surface not visible with the human eye, the surface of tiles, even those that are polished, is still very finely pitted and these very small pits all have the potential to trap small pieces of dust. These will not be visible at the stat, but over time are likely to be more visible on your floor tiles.
Whilst TileClick sell a fantastic range of ceramic tiles, we also sell some stunning porcelain tiles too. Porcelain tiles are harder and in many occasions more durable. This means that often they are harder to drill and so you may need to have special drilling equipment or specific drill bits.
The colours of porcelain tiles are not usually as bright as ceramic, so if you like the idea of something a little softer, then a porcelain tile is a good opinion. In many instances porcelain tiles need to be sealed in order to prevent staining, products such a lithofin are ideal for this job. There would be nothing worse than having a stain on your white polished porcelain tiles. Therefore, have a look at the selection of Lithofin products on our website.
We have had many people recently asking about white kitchen tiles. This is because people are wanting something that is fresh and bright for thier kitchen.
There are indeed a wide selection of kitchen tiles available whether you require tiles for a contemporary modern apartment or a country cottage. Many people choose to use more than one colour of tiles, some people just have them as splash backs for practical reasons and some people use them to create a feature wall above an oven for example.
There appears to be a growing trend in steam shower enclosures for homes across the UK, however, this doesn’t mean bathroom tiles are totally redundant.
These units are great if you have the space to install them and are totally remodelling your bathroom (they’re not that easy to swap your old shower unit for one of these), they come with all the latest gizmo’s and gadgets including lights, radio’s and enough settings to keep you inside and enjoying your sensuous shower experience! They also eliminate possible problems that can occur with todays modern power showers, with water leaks etc as the units are totally contained.

Hopefully the bad weather is now behind us, we have almost caught up with all of our deliveries of tiles that were delayed because of the snow and general bad weather from last week.
Were now hoping for a quick improvement on the weather, as I am sure most of us have had enough of the cold, wet and windy weather, which makes any job, even inside ones that mean you have to go to the shed to get your tools!
