Ranges or collections where you see this stamp have been manufactured or sourced in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines below.
British Ceramic Tile manufacturer in the UK, TileClick sell their own brand of tiles ‘british ceramic tile’, as well as ‘Laura Ashley‘, ‘Tactile by Studio Conran‘ and Wet by Hemingway Design.
Not all the tiles sold under these collections are made in the UK, this is solely due to the manufacturing capabilities of at the Devon based factory. To complete these ranges with border tiles, floor tiles, porcelain tiles and some wall tiles it is necessary for british ceramic tile to import certain product lines. Therefore, these imported product lines are still checked for quality to meet not only their high manufacturing standards, but to the European standard EN14411:2006. Britsih Ceramic Tile perform only rudimentary checks on incoming product, e.g shade, dry packaging, they do not check strength, dimesnions etc as laid out in EN14411.
Below is the information on british ceramic tile quality accreditation standards that they manufacture, import and manage to:-

Our tiles are manufactured to stringent quality standards, which surpass the latest British (BS6431) and European (EN14411) regulations. The honeycomb back of the tile was specially developed to allow greater adhesion and the tile corners are slightly recessed underneath for easier fixing.
We have also recently been granted the licence for the Natural Colour System (NCS) for our Creative Colours range.
